About the role
Responsibilities
- Train, validate, and apply AI/ML/DL models using data from the Intelligent Care Platform (ICP)
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of data from multiple sources, including clinical, wearable, and administrative health data
- Conduct extensive modeling of complex large datasets to explore data validity and perform statistical analysis
- Develop robust data pipelines to integrate data from comprehensive sources for regular updates
- Perform data extraction and linkage from multiple databases for analysis
- Implement program code for statistical modeling using Python, R, SAS, or Matlab
- Maintain syntax, metadata files, and documentation procedures
- Interpret, summarize, and document statistical analysis and results
- Ensure compliance with ethical, privacy, and data security policies regarding sensitive datasets
- Collaborate with faculty researchers, industry partners, and engineers to support research publications and ethics applications
Requirements
- Post-graduate degree in Statistics
- Minimum of three years of experience in research analysis
- Proficiency in AI/ML/DL frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Experience working with clinical data
Preferred Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Data Science
- Excellent programming experience in Python, R, Java, JavaScript, C#, or C++
- Hands-on experience with machine learning packages including Scikit-Learn and PyTorch
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems (e.g., SQL, MongoDB, Spark, Pandas)
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
