Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Analyze audit data using traditional machine learning and Large Language Models (LLMs) to uncover trends, patterns, or anomalies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assist in risk assessments and identify high-risk areas for deep-dive investigations.
• Communicate complex analytical insights clearly and impactfully to senior stakeholders.
• Implement cutting-edge solutions by staying up to date with advancements in AI, ML, and NLP.
• Provide training and support to auditors to ensure effective use of data-driven tools and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience building innovative data science solutions, preferably within financial services.
• Strong foundation in statistics, including hypothesis testing.
• Expertise in data wrangling using libraries such as Pandas and Numpy.
• Proficiency in Machine Learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, decision trees, SVMs).
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience fine-tuning pre-trained models to improve performance on specific tasks.
• Experience delivering projects within an Agile methodology framework.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as an individual contributor.
