Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Write production-level code for robust, scalable, and maintainable analytics products.
• Collaborate with data and software engineers across the entire product lifecycle, including data wrangling, modeling, and deployment.
• Leverage large, unstructured datasets such as POS, loyalty program, and customer feedback data to drive business decisions.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques including predictive modeling, machine learning, time series analysis, and optimization to solve business challenges.
• Translate complex business questions into actionable analytical solutions and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python or R.
• Expertise in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, etc.).
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, or seaborn.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control and testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with product and engineering departments.
