Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Write production-level code for robust analytics products, ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Collaborate with data and software engineers to support the full product lifecycle, including data wrangling, modeling, and deployment
• Leverage large, unstructured datasets such as POS, loyalty program, and customer feedback data to derive business insights
• Apply advanced analytical techniques including predictive modeling, machine learning, time series analysis, and optimization to solve business challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and model development
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets
• Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, etc.)
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control and testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, or seaborn
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
