Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Analyse near- and long-term AI opportunities for space-based ISR workflows
• Prepare and curate labelled datasets for assessments and demonstrations
• Recommend methods to strengthen data collection and management for intelligence workflows
• Conduct monthly training sessions on AI and geospatial data science for stakeholders
• Provide technical and logistical assistance for program demonstrations and Demo Days
• Evaluate analytics capabilities and recommend actionable reports for improvement
• Review emerging AI technologies and recommend applications for NATO's ISR capabilities

Requirements

• University degree in data science, mathematics, physics, computer science, or engineering
• 3+ years of experience in AI for imagery or geospatial analysis in production or mission environments
• Expertise in AI/ML workflows including data labelling and processing for large-scale datasets
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas) and ML frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch)
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
• Ability to build rapid ML prototypes and translate operational needs into requirements
• Familiarity with Responsible AI principles
• Fluent in Business English
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering training and demo materials to mixed technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in industry, government, or defense sectors
