Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Own the development and delivery of machine learning models for churn prediction, purchase propensity, store recommendations, and customer lifetime value
• Translate business problems into modeling approaches and select appropriate methods and features
• Work with large-scale behavioral and transactional data to uncover patterns for player growth
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and commercial stakeholders to ensure scalable solutions
• Partner with commercial, finance, and lifecycle teams to support data-driven decision-making
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
• Develop advanced modeling approaches such as deep learning and sequence-based methods

Requirements

• Experience building predictive models (churn, propensity, segmentation, or value modeling) in a commercial setting
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Solid understanding of machine learning techniques like regression, tree-based models, and clustering
• Experience working with large datasets to generate actionable insights
• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative or technical field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with production environments, MLOps, or data pipelines
• Experience with PySpark or distributed data processing tools
• Experience in gaming, e-commerce, or subscription-based products
