Data Scientist, Senior

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for enterprise AI applications
• Develop high-performance data parsers for extremely large and complex datasets
• Implement and manage various database systems, including graph, SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to optimize data access and retrieval for AI models
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data storage solutions
• Continuously optimize data infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with 8 years of experience, or Master's degree with 5 years of experience
• Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and optimizing data pipelines for large-scale enterprise environments
• Extensive experience with graph (e.g., Neo4j), SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB), and vector databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and their implications for data infrastructure
