Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Identify and map various knowledge sources such as incident logs, error codes, technical notes, and user guides to meet internal and customer needs.
• Implement methods for extracting and preparing knowledge from textual and multimodal sources (documents, images, videos), including cleaning, deduplication, and metadata enrichment.
• Build an exploitable knowledge base and a high-performance search module featuring both keyword and semantic search.
• Develop and integrate a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approach, including retrieval strategies, reranking, and generating traceable responses with source citations.
• Iterate on system improvements using performance metrics and user feedback.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bac+4/5 degree in Computer Science, Data/AI, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLM), and RAG systems.
• Knowledge of information extraction and retrieval techniques.
• Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and produce robust deliverables.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, after-sales, and quality departments.
• A passion for the automotive industry and connected services is a plus.
