About the role
About the Company
PhysicsX is a deep-tech company with roots in numerical physics and Formula One, dedicated to accelerating hardware innovation at the speed of software. We are building an AI-driven simulation software stack for engineering and manufacturing across advanced industries.
Responsibilities
- Pre-process and analyze data for use in predictive modelling
- Develop innovative deep learning models combined with state-of-the-art optimization methods
- Design, build, and test reliable, scalable data pipelines for production
- Work with simulation engineers to integrate data science models with simulations
- Contribute to internal R&D and product development
- Engage with customers to onboard users and co-develop solutions on-site
Requirements
- At least 1 year of industry experience (post Masters or PhD) in a commercial environment
- Strong foundations in data-driven modelling and deep learning
- Hands-on experience in probabilistic methods and predictive modelling
- Proficiency in Python and libraries including NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
- Ability to deploy scalable, production-ready models and data pipelines
- Willingness to travel to customer sites (average 3-4 weeks per quarter)
