MAI is on a mission to democratize advanced advertising technology. Founded by ad platform veterans from Google and Instacart, the company uses AI agents to automate and optimize performance marketing for small and mid-sized businesses. Having raised a $25 million Seed round led by Kleiner Perkins, MAI is scaling its product and engineering teams to build the future of autonomous growth marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement rigorous experimentation frameworks, including A/B tests, traffic allocation, and incrementality tests
  • Analyze ad and campaign performance across channels to provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Build data pipelines, processing logic, and observability dashboards to ensure data quality
  • Develop and maintain data science models for attribution, causal inference, and predictive optimization
  • Partner with marketing ops, product, and AI engineering teams to identify growth opportunities
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, data-driven recommendations for stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • Strong statistical and experimental design skills (A/B testing, causal inference, uplift modeling)
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and marketing data platforms
  • Solid understanding of marketing analytics, including attribution and incrementality
  • Ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with marketing platforms like Google Ads or Meta Ads
  • Familiarity with data pipelines and workflow tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Dataflow
  • Exposure to cloud-based data infrastructure like BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Snowflake
  • Experience building dashboards for marketing observability
