Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Dive into clinical and coding audits to understand data driving audit decisions
• Curate labeled data and hypothesize new features for ML models
• Develop ML models to target claims for audit with high precision
• Measure model performance and translate outcomes into operational insights
• Refine complex, nuanced data pipelines for robust modeling
• Enhance modeling infrastructure and team tools to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience solving real-world business problems with ML modeling
• Proficiency in SQL and handling large-scale data
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Python or R
• Experience building ML models from scratch using Neural Nets or Tree-ensembles
• Ability to make decisions regarding supervised labels, optimization metrics, and feature selection
