Responsibilities
- Design and deploy causal inference models to drive underwriting and portfolio management strategies
- Create and refine algorithms for credit pricing, personalization, and ranking
- Lead ML infrastructure projects to ensure observability and operational excellence
- Solve high-stakes constrained optimization problems to manage financial risk
Requirements
- PhD in a quantitative field preferred
- 5+ years of experience applying machine learning in a production environment
- Proficiency in production-grade Python and SQL
- Deep understanding of classification, forecasting, and optimization first principles
- Ability to work onsite in New York City
