Responsibilities

• Learn the domain of products served to understand data informing strategy and risk modelling
• Rigorously search for and develop the best models to enhance underwriting quality
• Communicate results clearly to stakeholders through verbal and written channels
• Share ideas with the wider team and contribute to the collective body of knowledge
• Design, implement, manage, and evaluate experiments for products and services

Requirements

• Experience using Python and SQL
• Strong proficiency in data manipulation using packages like NumPy and Pandas
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their respective pros and cons
• Confident communicator capable of effective team contribution
• Self-driven mindset with a willingness to lead projects and new initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in credit risk for consumer lending or credit cards, particularly in the US market
• Interest in machine learning engineering
• Strong SQL skills and an interest in data engineering
