About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop processes for modeling data to conduct operational analysis and interoperability assessments.
  • Work with analysts and data engineers to design data storage, integrate disparate data, and curate datasets.
  • Apply data science techniques to prepare data for analysis to answer critical measures and draw conclusions.
  • Provide recommendations to improve Joint Force capabilities through data-driven insights.
  • Utilize relational databases, scripting languages, and cloud-based computing environments to solve technical problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
  • US Citizenship with a Secret Clearance required to start.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), data cleaning, and data wrangling.
  • Experience handling large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
  • Ability to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Professional writing and oral presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Existing CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
  • Familiarity with API data extraction techniques.
  • Exposure to software development languages like C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Experience applying qualitative and quantitative methodologies to evaluate system performance in complex environments.
  • Experience supporting the Department of Defense or military operations.
  • Ability to incorporate visualization tools with industry-standard libraries.
