Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics
• Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines
• Model and optimize end-to-end system decision variables across the operational ecosystem
• Build optimization systems that continuously re-plan as inputs and conditions change
• Develop simulation tools for “what-if” analysis to guide product and operational decisions
• Partner with operations, product, and engineering teams to translate data into requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in data science, machine learning, or statistics
• Track record building and deploying models that drive measurable business impact
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Ability to build production-ready data pipelines and models
• Systems-thinking mindset for modeling complex, constraint-driven environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with operations research or constraint-based optimization (e.g., LP/MIP)
• Experience building simulation models (e.g., discrete-event or digital twins)
• Experience working with real-time operational or telemetry data
• Experience in food service, on-demand delivery, or just-in-time manufacturing
