About the Company

Adaptyv is building an automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments. We are building the infrastructure that gives AI agents access to the physical world, serving biopharmas, frontier AI labs, and techbio companies.

Responsibilities

• Own the scientific logic of data quality across the foundry by defining expected signal ranges and control thresholds
• Build anomaly detection and QC models to catch assay drift, instrument variability, and plate effects
• Work with software and ML teams to improve automated data pipelines for instrument outputs
• Connect experimental results back to protein sequence, structure, and design
• Turn foundry output into structured, benchmark-grade datasets for customer use and model training
• Apply statistical rigor to multi-condition data at scale to ensure results are interpretable and comparable

Requirements

• Strong data science or bioinformatics background
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scientific stack)
• Genuine grounding in biology, specifically proteins, assays, and sequence/structure/function
• Statistical maturity in process control, anomaly detection, and handling batch effects
• Proven track record of building and shipping pipelines, tools, or models
• AI-native workflow using coding agents
• Ability to work interdisciplinary across lab, software, and ML teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with protein/sequence-structure data and bioinformatics tooling
• Experience with ML on experimental data
• Experience building datasets for model training and benchmarking
