About the role

Responsibilities

  • Apply mathematical and statistical theories to gather, analyze, and construct processes for modeling and reporting quantitative information and trends.
  • Participate in Mission Thread Analysis to trace system functionality to operational mission objectives and validate resilience strategies.
  • Identify methods, algorithms, and tools to extract and interpret findings from structured and unstructured data sets.
  • Develop algorithms and tools for data manipulation and use visualization techniques to articulate findings.
  • Execute comprehensive data management, including querying databases, data cleaning, normalization, and conducting rigorous statistical analysis.
  • Build and maintain automated intelligence dashboards and develop predictive data models to drive actionable mission intelligence.
  • Translate technical findings into plain-language summaries for senior leadership regarding financial, readiness, or operational status.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in data science or related analytical roles.
  • 2 years of experience supporting NAVAIR or NAWCAD.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (a Master's degree may be considered in lieu of 2 years of professional experience).
  • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Power Platform and Qlik.
  • Experience assisting senior positions in performing functional duties.
  • Experience with data reduction, software tools, and their specific applications.
