Data Scientist III

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end customer lifecycle across all Fanatics lines of business
• Build, deploy, and iterate on Lifetime Value (LTV) models using probabilistic frameworks
• Design and implement churn, reactivation, and propensity models for loyalty and CRM
• Apply causal inference and uplift modeling to measure incremental value of promotions
• Develop analytical frameworks to facilitate enterprise trade-offs and executive decision-making
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Advertising, Betting, and eCommerce

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics
• Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency
• Experience building and validating machine learning models
• Hands-on experience with LTV or customer value modeling
• Proven experience with experiment design in loyalty or promotional contexts
• Strong grasp of survival analysis for churn and retention modeling
• Ability to partner with stakeholders and communicate data-driven insights

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-brand customer data or identity resolution
• Experience experimenting with Generative AI solutions like LLMs for commercial analytics
