Data Scientist - II

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, reusable machine learning models specializing in computer vision (CV), natural language processing (NLP), and API development.
• Drive innovative solutions for complex CV-NLP challenges, including image classification, data extraction, text classification, and summarization.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Data Engineering teams to design and implement efficient ML pipelines for seamless production deployment.
• Optimize the model development lifecycle, focusing on scalability for training and production scoring to manage high data volumes and user traffic.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in developing computer vision and NLP models and applications.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and extensive experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras.
• Experience with API development frameworks like Django or FastAPI.
• Proven success in overcoming OCR challenges using libraries such as Tesseract, Keras-OCR, or EasyOCR.
• Deep understanding of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and hands-on experience with models like YOLO and DETR.
• Extensive experience in NLP tasks, including Named Entity Recognition (NER), text classification, and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with public cloud OCR services such as AWS Textract, GCP Vision, or Document AI.
