Data Scientist II

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to derive meaningful insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems, goals, and KPIs
• Design, develop, and implement GPS analytics to solve complex problems
• Identify and implement enhancement and automation of high-value analytics
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop and enhance data infrastructure and pipelines
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
• Follow technical best practices including code version control and pipeline management
• Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior analysts

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an analytical, engineering, operations research or scientific discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in a data and analytics role
• Proficiency in R, Python, and advanced SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with AWS, GitHub, dbt, or Domino
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work hours that overlap with US East Coast working hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with major GPS applications such as SAP, Oracle, LIMS, Infinity, or MES
• Experience with biotech product development, manufacturing operations, or supply chain
• Experience in the biopharma industry
