Data Scientist, Identity

Responsibilities

• Define north-star metrics and measurement frameworks to evaluate the identity experience across consumer and enterprise products.
• Design and analyze experiments to optimize top-of-funnel performance, including sign-up, sign-in, onboarding, and account recovery.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to improve activation and authentication success while maintaining security safeguards.
• Quantify trade-offs between growth objectives and abuse prevention outcomes, such as fraud and account takeover risks.
• Develop methodologies using causal inference and observational analyses to evaluate initiatives when randomized experimentation is not feasible.
• Build source-of-truth datasets, dashboards, and analytical systems to enable scalable decision-making.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product data science, experimentation, and product analytics.
• Expertise in designing experiments and applying causal inference methods in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proven experience owning product funnels and driving improvements through measurement.
• Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for technical partners and senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on identity, authentication, trust and safety, fraud, or abuse prevention.
• Experience solving ambiguous, cross-functional problems in a fast-paced environment.
