Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust database tables and schemas tailored for novel sensor data
• Build end-to-end ETL or ELT data pipelines
• Establish automated data health monitoring, validation checks, and system alerts
• Develop secure, scalable workflows to automate API-based data movement
• Conduct technical impact assessments on how novel data metadata and structures interact with production pipelines
• Standardize and format raw sensor data for downstream machine learning model testing
• Perform complex geospatial manipulations including orthorectification and chipping

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain CI/Poly
• 4+ years of experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and cloud architectures
• Experience leveraging APIs to query systems and migrate data
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Experience developing and sustaining operational data pipelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NGA IT enterprise solutions
• Knowledge of Government Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Experience developing dynamic visualizations for data pipeline monitoring
