Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Integrate emerging sensors and platforms into existing data pipelines and workflows
• Assess metadata, data format, and structure changes in databases, APIs, and ETL processes
• Conduct analysis of how emerging data impacts Machine Learning model development and operational use cases
• Evaluate and recommend solutions for partitioning data into training, test, and validation splits
• Lead the design and application of methods to identify, collect, and process large volumes of data
• Build web scraping algorithms for imagery curation
• Support data analytics, cleansing, and ETL transformation capabilities
• Build software tools to manage labeling campaigns and geospatial data visualization
• Conduct analysis of data holdings to support performant AI/ML models

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain CI/Poly
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and data systems
• Experience with geospatial file formats, JSON, and XML
• 3+ years of experience in quantitative analysis and data operations
• Proficiency in Python for data cleaning and manipulation
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms
• Experience with NGA analytic modernization efforts (Computer Vision, automated collection)
• Expertise in math, statistics, and quantitative analysis (classification, regression, clustering)
