Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Provide embedded GEOINT, automation, and augmentation expertise to the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG)
• Develop automation solutions to connect databases and enterprise systems
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources for operational decision-making
• Gather, store, and disseminate metrics and performance information
• Research and design modernized data management workflows
• Automate repetitive data management and reporting tasks using Python
• Utilize Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcSDE for data discovery and analysis

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph
• 9+ years of experience in data science, automation, or related technical disciplines
• Proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, etc.)
• Experience connecting multiple databases and enterprise systems for automation
• Proven ability to automate repetitive analytic tasks and workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of GEOINT workflows
• Experience with workflow management systems like Flowable or Esri Workflow Manager
• Experience supporting NGA or other Intelligence Community organizations
• Experience with modernized database applications and enterprise APIs
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, GIS, or related field
