Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Conduct sophisticated analysis using deployed tools and natural language processing
• Analyze large amounts of raw text data to provide business insights
• Pre-process and clean structured and unstructured data
• Design and implement advanced ETL code and table configurations
• Use SQL in Oracle databases to develop and organize information
• Author analytic publications and produce ad-hoc reports with data visualizations
• Provide technical education and subject matter expertise in NLP

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
• Professional or academic experience in NLP tasks and Python libraries
• Experience with Spacy, Gensim, or NLTK
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Keras
• Experience with HuggingFace Transformers library
• Experience creating machine learning models for text classification and topic modeling
• Proficiency with SQL including CTEs, set operations, and subqueries
• Experience with version control systems like Github and Jenkins
• Experience leveraging GPUs for accelerated computing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing Python scripts for web-based APIs and relational databases
• Experience with cloud computing development and architecture
• Experience with front-end web development frameworks such as Flask
• Experience developing applications for semantic search
• Experience tuning LLMs on custom datasets
• Proficiency with Tableau for visualizations and dashboards
