Data Scientist (GenAgentic AI solutions)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, focusing on RAG architectures and MLOps.
• Design and optimize high-performance retrieval systems using vector databases and advanced semantic search techniques.
• Develop and standardize agentic orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI) for complex, multi-step AI workflows.
• Build automated LLM evaluation pipelines to measure hallucination, faithfulness, and relevancy using LLM-as-a-judge.
• Establish best practices for the full ML lifecycle, including data labeling, experimentation, and CI/CD for ML (MLOps).
• Optimize model inference, training workflows, and cost/latency through caching strategies and prompt compression.
• Integrate real-time guardrails, content filtering, and PII masking to ensure security and ethical compliance.
• Act as an internal consultant and subject matter expert to help product teams leverage platform tools.

Requirements

• BE / B. Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant quantitative field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in data science and machine learning.
• 3+ years of focused experience with Generative AI and LLM-based systems.
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, HuggingFace, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Deep experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and open-source deployment (Ollama, vLLM).
• Solid command of vector databases, semantic search, and RAG architectures.
• Proficiency with MLOps/LLMOps tooling (e.g., MLflow, Weights & Biases, LangSmith).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data platforms like Databricks.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Data Science or a quantitative field.
• Certifications in Gen/Agentic AI solutions or platforms like Databricks and AWS.
• Industry experience in Manufacturing, Building Materials, Process, or Pharma.
• Exposure to multi-modal AI systems (vision, audio, or structured document understanding).
• Knowledge of GenAI standards such as MCP, A2A, and A2UI.
