Epistemix builds simulation and data-driven modeling tools that let leaders visualize how strategies will unfold across populations and systems before they commit resources. We help organizations in public health, life sciences, insurance, and enterprise strategy move from uncertainty to conviction through high-resolution population data and modeling infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers in delivering data integration, visualizations, models, and recommendations using the Epistemix platform
  • Work with customer teams to develop data integration and modeling plans to support decision making
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop, test, and validate simulation models for healthcare use cases
  • Provide guidance on proposal feasibility and impact
  • Contribute to customer onboarding experiences and content
  • Engage with users to provide informal support, tips, and troubleshooting
  • Provide feedback to Product and Sales teams to align offerings with customer needs
  • Stay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and healthcare analytics

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Analyst, or similar role (PhD work counts)
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Epidemiology, Economics, Public Health, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • Proficiency in Python and associated data science technologies
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or GIS tools)
  • Strong foundation in machine learning, data modeling, and predictive analytics
  • Understanding of key healthcare industry concepts
  • Strong communication skills across verbal, code, visualizations, and maps
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Prior healthcare industry experience
  • Experience working across different company sizes or business stages
