About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain digital tools, models, and KPIs to enhance energy management, market visibility, and operational decision-making.
- Partner with energy managers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into practical digital solutions.
- Lead the creation of analytics, forecasting, optimization, and decision support tools to improve energy planning and cost performance.
- Build scalable data applications and dashboards integrating market, operational, and commercial data.
- Evaluate new technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, to enhance energy management capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in optimization, machine learning, forecasting, and statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R.
- Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of databases and ETL concepts.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with energy trading and risk management tools, including portfolio optimization and market analysis.
- Experience designing and optimizing databases and building scalable business intelligence solutions.
- Strong data storytelling skills to convey complex solutions to diverse stakeholders.
