Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Act as a thought partner to product, business, finance, and executive teams
• Use quantitative analysis to understand business drivers
• Build full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, Python, or R
• Produce recommendations using statistical techniques and hypothesis testing
• Provide insights into marketplace dynamics, user behaviors, and long-term trends
• Identify and measure levers to move essential metrics
• Collaborate with strategy, operations, product, finance, and engineering teams
• Travel to meet with business partners and teams in various markets

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or a related role
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems using a structured, hypothesis-driven approach
• Experience with experimentation techniques such as A/B testing and Causal Inference
• Proficiency in Python or R
• Expertise with SQL queries and ETLs
• Proficiency in analytics and visualization tools
• Experience building and training statistical and machine learning models
