Data Scientist - Commercial Analytics

Responsibilities

• Build the company's analytics foundation from scratch to drive product, sales, and executive decision-making
• Conduct feature adoption and engagement analysis to provide prioritization signals for the Product team
• Develop customer health and churn models using product usage signals to support Customer Success
• Audit and clean CRM data, building pipelines to sync it with product usage
• Perform sales funnel analysis to identify conversion patterns and deal bottlenecks
• Create automated executive reporting and weekly data digests for leadership

Requirements

• Based in London and excited to work in the office 5 days per week
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, matplotlib, plotly)
• Experience with BI or dashboarding tools such as Metabase, Looker, or Tableau
• Experience working with product analytics platforms like Amplitude or Mixpanel
• Experience working directly with CRM data
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical commercial stakeholders
• Self-directed mindset with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, foundational role

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software
• Experience working with complex usage data and diverse customer segments
• AI-forward approach with experience using AI tools for coding and analysis
