Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and train statistical, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI models.
• Partner with business leaders, product managers, and stakeholders to address challenges using predictive analytics.
• Build and scale scalable, reliable AI/ML models, services, and GenAI-powered application backends.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data collection, quality, and the overall data landscape.
• Use software engineering best practices to publish model scores, insights, and learnings at scale.
• Identify macro and micro trends with statistical significance to drive business outcomes.
• Play an active role in hiring, growing, and mentoring the data science team in Bengaluru.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of data scientist experience, specifically within large-scale, globally distributed environments.
• Proficiency in Python and scientific computing.
• Experience with Spark, SQL, and BigQuery (or similar Big Data/Cloud equivalents).
• Proficiency in LLM frameworks such as Langchain or Langgraph for implementing GenAI applications.
• Experience working with structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within a fast-growing SaaS business.
• Proven track record of applying machine learning to drive revenue or business growth (e.g., Sales or Marketing models).
• Experience in hiring data scientists and establishing team best practices.
• Experience with tools like Tableau or Google Analytics.
