Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-driven claims solutions and prototype LLM-based workflows to solve complex business problems.
• Explore and mine large, unstructured claims datasets to surface actionable patterns and insights.
• Build and iterate on Python-based pipelines for data processing, feature extraction, and LLM integration.
• Prototype and evaluate LLM-based workflows, including RAG pipelines, Chain-of-Thought reasoning, and document summarization.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to translate domain knowledge into working AI solutions.
• Document findings, code, and methodologies clearly for cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Strong Python programming skills, including data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with data exploration and analysis using Pandas, NumPy, and visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly).
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and libraries such as scikit-learn.
• Basic understanding of NLP and text processing techniques.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG architectures (e.g., LangChain, Azure OpenAI).
• Experience working with unstructured data such as PDFs, text documents, and forms.
• Academic, personal, or internship projects demonstrating practical data exploration or AI/ML experience.
