Data Scientist Associate

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and deliver analytics and automation solutions to improve business processes and client outcomes
• Build payments insights to help merchants optimize authorization performance, chargebacks, and total cost of payments
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, datasets, and dashboards using Snowflake, Python, SQL, and Tableau
• Prototype and iterate on generative AI features, including prompt design and refinement
• Design, execute, and document testing to validate the reliability and effectiveness of AI solutions
• Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to design end-to-end capabilities like conversational assistants

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in data analytics or data science
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and developing repeatable workflows
• Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts and common tooling
• Experience working with large language models (LLMs) and agent-based AI techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rapid prototyping and data application development using Tableau and Streamlit
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Snowflake for data management
• Understanding of quality assurance practices to protect data integrity
• Experience documenting analytic requirements and aligning stakeholders on project scope
