Data Scientist – Analyst

Responsibilities

• Build, validate, and deploy ML propensity and recommendation models using Databricks
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for model training, scoring, and reporting
• Design and execute AB tests for incentives and pricing; analyze results and provide actionable insights
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate analytics into business actions
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions to demonstrate a bias to action
• Document methodologies, code, and results to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Databricks for data processing, ML modeling, and experiment management
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience designing and analyzing AB tests for incentives and pricing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset
• Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in insurance, banking, or fintech analytics
