Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Integrate into the Digital Factory Supply Chain to support forecasting and optimization via data and advanced analysis
• Design, structure, and industrialize forecasting calculation tools (store need forecasting, warehouse load forecasting, supply chain optimization)
• Structure, plan, and coordinate team work in collaboration with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Owners, and business teams
• Align analytical and technical solutions with business and business challenges
• Mentor, guide, and support the skill development of junior profiles
• Guarantee best practices in Data Science and software development (quality, maintainability, performance, industrialization)
• Arbitrate technical choices and contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies and solutions
• Actively participate in modeling, analysis, and industrialization as a senior contributor

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering or equivalent university specialization in computer science
• 5 to 7 years of professional experience
• Excellent mastery of SQL and BigQuery for large-scale data exploration and transformation
• Excellent mastery of Python for analysis, modeling, and industrialization
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proficiency in Git and collaborative development best practices
• Proficiency in DBT
• Solid understanding of the complete Data Science project lifecycle
• Confirmed experience in industrializing Machine Learning solutions in cloud environments
• Understanding of supply chain, forecasting, and optimization business challenges
• Mastery of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Sprint Planning, Backlog)
