Data Scientist, AI Enabled Analytics - Procurement

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy advanced analytics, statistical models, and machine learning solutions to analyze spend patterns, forecast demand, and evaluate supplier risk.
• Partner with engineering and platform teams to operationalize AI solutions, ensuring they are scalable and integrated into procurement workflows.
• Translate complex business questions into actionable insights and develop compelling data-driven narratives for executive audiences.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines and analytical workflows using tools such as SQL, Airflow, and Alteryx.
• Integrate AI-enabled insights into core procurement platforms like SAP Ariba to enable real-time decision support.
• Measure and communicate the business impact of AI initiatives, including cost savings, efficiency gains, and risk reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience, OR Master's Degree and 6 years of experience, OR PhD and 2 years of experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and expertise in data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong knowledge of procurement technology and data science methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of applying procurement principles and industry best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, e-procurement solutions, and digital tool integration.
• Experience leading AI-enabled business transformation or automation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional process improvement efforts and manage complex projects in a matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including risk assessment and onboarding.
