Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of data scientists focused on AI/ML product development
• Facilitate the design of algorithms and models to deliver product features
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to accelerate AI-powered features
• Own Data Science prioritization, resource allocation, and workload management
• Drive execution of AI/ML projects by tracking progress and aligning timelines
• Promote high-quality experimentation, modeling, and evaluation standards
• Conduct performance reviews, coach team members, and support career growth
• Contribute to hiring and onboarding efforts

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, etc.)
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a Data Science role or related technology role
• Advanced knowledge of statistics and probability
• Intermediate to advanced experience in SQL, Python, AWS, and ML workflows
• Strong strategic thinking and project management skills
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and move from 0 to 1 with new features

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a technical field
• Experience leading AI work with LLMs, embeddings, or ranking/recommender systems
• Experience in the TV Media Industry or Ad Tech
