Data Science Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day execution of the Data team, ensuring projects are well scoped, prioritized, and delivered on time
• Set clear goals for team members and track progress against business KPIs
• Partner with stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, growth, finance, and leadership
• Review technical work including SQL, Python, dashboards, data models, and design docs
• Support hiring, onboarding, and development of team members
• Ensure data practices meet privacy, security, and compliance requirements

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data or analytics roles
• Experience leading projects and reviewing technical work
• Experience managing technical or analytics work as a people manager or tech lead
• Ability to read and review SQL and Python code
• Sound judgment regarding data privacy, security, and compliance
• Proficiency using AI tools to improve team leverage and execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing analysts, analytics engineers, or data engineers
• Experience building KPI frameworks or leadership reporting
• Experience in healthcare or fintech environments
