Data Science Manager, Integrity

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a high-impact Integrity Data Science team through hiring, coaching, and development
• Drive strategy across domains including policy enforcement, bot detection, fraud prevention, and risk measurement
• Build analytical rigor through metric frameworks, experimentation standards, and monitoring systems
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape roadmaps and translate risk signals into product decisions
• Evolve team structure and operating models to improve processes and tooling
• Communicate complex tradeoffs and risk assessments to senior leadership
• Drive the team toward AI-leveraged operating modes to accelerate detection and analysis

Requirements

• Deep experience leading and scaling Data Science teams in trust & safety, fraud, security, or risk domains
• Strong technical grounding in experimentation, causal inference, anomaly detection, and risk modeling
• Proven track record of building partnerships across Engineering, Product, and Operations
• Excellence in hiring, mentoring, and developing technical talent
• Ability to translate evolving threats into clear frameworks and metrics
• Comfort operating in high-ambiguity environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying scaled detection solutions using LLMs, embeddings, or fine-tuning
• Experience working with policy, content moderation, or security operations teams
• Experience building measurement systems that balance safety with user experience and business constraints
