About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a high-impact Integrity Data Science team, including hiring, coaching, and developing technical talent.
- Drive analytical strategy across domains such as policy enforcement, bot detection, fraud prevention, and risk measurement.
- Build and institutionalize analytical rigor through clear metric frameworks, experimentation standards, and monitoring systems.
- Partner deeply with Product and Engineering leaders to shape roadmaps and translate risk signals into product decisions.
- Communicate complex tradeoffs and risk assessments clearly to senior leadership to drive alignment on priorities.
- Evolve team operating models and push the organization toward AI-leveraged workflows to accelerate detection and analysis.
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading and scaling Data Science teams, ideally within trust & safety, fraud, security, or risk domains.
- Strong technical grounding in modern data science techniques, including experimentation, causal inference, and anomaly detection.
- Proven expertise in risk modeling and measurement design.
- Demonstrated track record of building durable partnerships across Engineering, Product, and Operations.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and translate evolving threats into structured frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying scaled detection solutions using LLMs, embeddings, or related ML systems for abuse and fraud.
- Experience working closely with policy, content moderation, or security operations teams.
- Experience building measurement systems that balance safety requirements with user experience and business constraints.
