Data Science Manager, Analytics

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists to develop product strategies that serve billions of users and millions of businesses.
• Drive end-to-end analytics projects in partnership with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to influence investment decisions.
• Use large and complex datasets to solve challenging problems using various analytical and statistical approaches.
• Identify and measure product success through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key metrics.
• Influence product direction by delivering clear, compelling, and data-driven stories to leadership.
• Contribute to the advancement of the Data Science discipline by driving best practices in experimentation and analysis.

Requirements

• 4+ years of work experience in applied analytics (2+ years with a Ph.D.).
• 2+ years of experience managing analytics teams.
• Proficiency with data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Python or R).
• Proven experience initiating and completing complex analytical projects with minimal guidance.
• Strong ability to communicate technical results and insights to leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics.
• Demonstrated track record of leading high-performing analytics teams.
• Experience in technology, consulting, or finance sectors.
• Ongoing development in AI skills, including prompt engineering or agent orchestration.
• Ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact.
• Experience implementing responsible and ethical AI practices, including bias mitigation.
