Data Science Intern

Responsibilities

• Dig into real parts data to build a data-backed understanding of validation and automatching problems
• Help quantify problem types by breaking broad issues into measurable categories
• Use SQL, Python, and sampling to estimate accuracy and failure rates
• Produce clear findings for Applied ML, Product, and DataQA teams
• Build lightweight tooling including scripts and small dashboards
• Produce reproducible analyses and clear documentation

Requirements

• Studying or recently studied data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or engineering
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python
• Strong analytical fundamentals and problem decomposition skills
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and take feedback well
• Curiosity regarding messy, real-world data

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to classification problems or data quality/QA work
• Experience with entity matching or catalog data
• Knowledge of automotive data or human-in-the-loop systems
