Data Science Intern

Responsibilities

• Transform complex workforce data into actionable insights for evidence-based decision-making
• Design and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards that visualize key workforce metrics and trends
• Identify and resolve data quality issues across HRIS, recruitment, and survey sources
• Develop and document data models and DAX measures to support automated reporting
• Produce clear visual and written summaries connecting findings to actionable recommendations
• Streamline and document data transformation and refresh processes for recurring reports

Requirements

• Genuine commitment to the principles and work of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, or a related quantitative field
• Demonstrated experience building Power BI dashboards, including data modeling, Power Query, and DAX
• Strong analytical and statistical foundation (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing)
• Hands-on experience with Python and/or R for data wrangling and analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and data integrity
• Ability to work with complex, distributed, and unstructured data
