Data Science Analytics Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface and strategic partner for P&C Insurance clients in Australia, developing executive-level relationships.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of data and analytics programs, including scoping, planning, execution, and governance.
• Provide consultative guidance and thought leadership on analytics-led transformation within the P&C domain (Motor, Home, Workers Compensation, etc.).
• Translate complex business challenges into actionable solutions using advanced analytics, AI/ML, and data engineering.
• Collaborate with global offshore analytics teams and cross-functional COEs to co-create and execute data-driven solutions.
• Manage senior stakeholder communication, project risks, and ensure alignment with client strategic goals.

Requirements

• 14+ years of experience in Data & Analytics.
• 5+ years of specialized experience in the P&C Insurance domain.
• 5+ years in client-facing delivery and consultative engagement roles.
• Proven track record of delivering AI/ML solutions across insurance functions like claims or policy management.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau, and Databricks.
• Working knowledge of the AWS suite.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GenAI, Agentic AI, or Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or PMP.
• Experience implementing Self-Service BI within the insurance sector.
