About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-performing team of data analysts, scientists, and programmers.
- Develop and execute project plans, implement policies, and set operational goals for the supply chain organization.
- Translate ambiguous business needs into structured frameworks and oversee the execution of data projects.
- Provide vision, oversight, and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Build scalable data solutions and uncover actionable insights to drive supply chain stability.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with executive stakeholders, customers, and peers.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, formal manager, or large-scale cross-functional project management).
- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to executive leadership.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python or R.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
- 5+ years of proficiency using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Proven ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience leading teams in data analytics or data science.
- Experience building and deploying machine learning and AI models in a production environment.
- Familiarity with cloud data environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed computing tools (Spark, Hadoop).
- Domain knowledge relevant to the aerospace industry and supply chain.
