Data Science & Analytics Co-op

Responsibilities

• Analyze and generate insights from large, complex, and noisy datasets to identify historical patterns in customer behavior and product performance
• Apply statistical modeling techniques such as regression, decision trees, and clustering to solve business problems
• Use analytical rigor and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights and create data mining architectures
• Research and apply emerging data science principles and theories to inform business decisions
• Create deliverables and presentations that clearly communicate methodology and results to stakeholders
• Develop scripts and utilities to automate data collection and bridge the gap between development and operations

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from Drexel University with a cooperative learning track
• Available for a 6-month, full-time co-op starting September 2026
• Proficiency in SQL for retrieving and manipulating data
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning programming frameworks
• Understanding of statistical modeling, experimentation foundations, and predictive modeling concepts
• Understanding of data visualization concepts and the ability to articulate complex ideas simply
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a major in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Business
• Experience working with high-dimensional "big data" sources
