Data Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Own data quality strategy, standards, and operating models for training data across all AI systems
• Define QA methodologies, audit processes, and guidelines for humanoid robot training data
• Manage data quality metrics including accuracy, consistency, and rework rates
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Helix team to shape data collection and evaluation
• Develop onboarding and ongoing training programs for labeling teams
• Review edge cases and ambiguous annotations to drive guideline updates with the ML team
• Partner with engineering to design and develop internal tooling for annotation and data review

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience leading operational or data teams in fast-paced environments
• Proven experience managing large-scale data quality or annotation operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and correct quality issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting standards and providing feedback
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and operational workflow management tools
• Ability to manage competing priorities and time-sensitive deliverables under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with robotics, autonomy, or sensor-derived data
• 10+ years of experience leading skilled teams operating complex or early-stage technology
• A passion for helping scale the deployment of learning humanoid robots
