Data Quality Governance and Strategy Associate Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operationalize data governance workflows within the Collibra platform
• Integrate structured data and analytical metadata from Snowflake into Collibra to support centralized cataloging and data lineage
• Enable AI-driven metadata generation and governance optimization leveraging Snowflake AI capabilities
• Collaborate with business, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure scalable and automated metadata management
• Manage timelines and deliverables effectively within Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments
• Maintain strong documentation for both technical and business audiences

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of related professional experience
• 2+ years of experience in data governance, data engineering, or analytics
• 2+ years of development experience in Java, Python, and/or UNIX environments
• 2+ years of experience with SQL and Snowflake handling large-scale data
• 2+ years of experience working with AI capabilities within Snowflake or similar platforms
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
