Data Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the QA strategy across Candor's data products to ensure accuracy and reliability of provider data at scale
• Analyze client-facing data deliverables, including spreadsheets and accuracy reports, to interpret data meaning and quality
• Participate in product discussions to provide quality-informed perspectives on roadmap decisions and release planning
• Build and manage a QA team, including hiring, mentoring, and establishing quality measurement standards
• Write scripts and develop lightweight automation using Python, SQL, or shell scripts to reduce manual testing burdens
• Coordinate testing efforts across engineering, data operations, and client delivery teams
• Develop and maintain test plans, regression suites, and data validation frameworks tailored to data-heavy products
• Translate client feedback and data quality gaps into actionable product improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience with at least 2 years in a QA management role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify anomalies in large datasets and accuracy reports
• Hands-on scripting proficiency in Python, SQL, and Bash
• Proven experience working with data products, data pipelines, or analytics-heavy platforms
• Ability to communicate tradeoffs clearly across multiple teams with competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with healthcare data
• Experience managing distributed or offshore engineering teams
