About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide information security consulting services to align business vision with security standards and risk management.
  • Lead the development of information security strategies by analyzing business processes, policies, and information systems.
  • Advise business leaders on security principles, frameworks, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends.
  • Facilitate discussions to elicit, analyze, and document risks and security requirements with stakeholders.
  • Track metrics and milestones, providing actionable recommendations and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Champion information security best practices and promote continuous process improvements.
  • Assess the impact of project scope changes on information security benefits and risks.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in information security or a related field.
  • Post-secondary degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, 27002, and PCI DSS.
  • Strong understanding of information security processes, controls, and risk management methodologies.
  • Proven experience in business analysis and project delivery practices across the project lifecycle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver professional presentations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of, or progress toward, professional information security certifications from recognized institutions such as (ISC)2, ISACA, or SANS.
